Welcome to GoodNess Ridge Farm

Welcome to GoodNess Ridge Farm, LLC – located in beautiful Frederick County, Mount Airy, Maryland. We are a small breeder of German Oldenburg sporthorses as well as a state-of-the-art training and boarding facility.  

The farm was named for the 1998 imported German Oldenburg Verband mare, Baronessa (Day Dream/Rubinstein I/Westminster), aka Ness, our foundation broodmare, who is now pursuing her riding career at the FEI levels. GoodNess Ridge Farm gives exceptional care for horse and rider and provides access to international-caliber clinicians and educational programs.  

Head Trainer, Siobhan Byrne, offers instruction and training for students and horses at all levels.  She will give your youngster a wonderful start under saddle or bring your horse to the FEI dressage competition level.  Applications are now being accepted for clients and horses in training.  Please contact Siobhan or Shari for more information.
