Abbey and Samba

Abbey is a mostly Australian Shepherd who charms everyone with her loving disposition and her desire to play “fetch” 24/7. She is a Flyball star and competes with her Maryland team, 4 Dog Night, all over the mid-atlantic.
Flyball is a dog sport in which teams of dogs race against each other from a start/finish line, over a line of hurdles, to a box that releases a tennis ball to be caught when the dog presses the spring loaded pad, then back to their handlers while carrying the ball. The smallest dog on the team determines the height of the hurdles for the rest of the dogs so a small and fast dog is a valuable asset to a Flyball team.
Enter Samba…born November 14, 2009, this Toy Australian Shepherd should mature at 12″-13″ at the wither. If she shows an interest in Flyball, she should be a fantastic height dog–she’s small enough to set the jumps low for the team–and fast enough to help them win some races!
