Shari’s parents have been a major supporter in her equestrian and canine pursuits. Perhaps that is because they themselves are lifelong animal lovers. Early in their marriage Shari’s parents bred and showed champion Boxers through their “Kimmerclan Kennels.” Shari’s mother, a talented artist, was commissioned at the dog shows they attended to paint portraits of many of the competitors.
Throughout the years Shari’s mom continued her artistic endeavors by designing needlepoint canvases under her business, “Designs by Arlyne.” Shari has been the fortunate benefactor of numerous portaits and needlepoints featuring many of her horses and dogs past and present. We are sure you will agree that Arlyne is incredibly talented and truly captures the spirit of each animal in her artwork.
