GoodNess Ridge Farm, LLC





Welcome to GoodNess Ridge Farm, where the comfort and safety of the horses and their riders is our top priority. The 26.5-acre farm is up on a hill providing a lovely view of the surrounding countryside.






The barn has 20 stalls. The skylights and windows provide a lot of natural light and a feeling of openness.







Each of the 12 x 12 stalls have rubber mats..







...and a large window.







The indoor arena has 8 sliding windows for light and ventilation and there are at least 25 feet of mirrors on every wall. The footing, custom mixed for dressage horses, contains manufactured sand, rubber, and felt.







Our outdoor arena is atop one of the highest points of the property offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.





 


Our heated washstall has hot and cold water as well as an overhead sprayer and non-slip Mayo Mats.







We have numerous pastures, large and small, with 3 board fencing or 3 strands of vinyl Centaur fencing, like shown at right.







In case of foul weather or a horse needing rehab, we have two 5-board, all-weather stonedust paddocks right next to the barn. The smaller paddock is pictured after a picturesque snow.





 
Several fields have run-in sheds for the broodmares and foals.





 

All of the horses are turned out privately or with one other horse each day, weather permitting.





 
There are two centrally located, climate controlled tack rooms. This is the larger tackroom, which has 12 lockers.





 
And the inside of one of the tack lockers. Our carpenter thought of everything--even a place to store tall dressage boots!





 
The comfortable lounge is a great place to review a training video or relax after riding.

The feed room also houses the washing machine and dryer, big enough for a heavy-weight blanket and tough enough for washing saddle pads and polo wraps on a daily basis.





 


The grooming bay has an overhead garage-type door so the farrier can pull right up when shoeing horses.
 





 
 

Our driveway goes all the way around the property so tractor trailers and large rigs do not have to back up. Trailer parking is offered at the back of the farm behind the outdoor arena.
