ROHSINA 1997 imported German Oldenburg Verband black mare

Rohsina is a beautiful, gentle and feminine black mare. She is pictured above with her 2006 dark bay Premium GOV filly by Sunny-Boy, named Samsara.


Rohsina is branded and registered German Oldenburg Verband and was imported to the U.S. in 2003. Rohsina is Main Studbook approved with four European Warmblood registries, including the German Oldenburg Verband, American Hanoverian Society, Westfälischen Pferdestammbuch eV. and Dansk Varmblod. She has scored an overall rating of at least 7.0, with 8s on her walk, femininity/typiness, front legs, head, and neck. In 2004, the AHS inspection team at Hilltop Farm awarded Rohsina a rare "8" on correctness of gaits.

Rohsina inherited her sire, Rohdiamant's, dished face and sweet expression, excellent gaits, and his willing and tractable temperament. Rohsina is a perfect mother and consistently passes on her calm disposition and beautiful exterior.

Rohsina's "typiness" is evident in her all of her foals. Here she is with Capella at age 6 weeks.




Rohsina looks proudly on, as her filly, Capella, is shown in hand at the Fair Hill Breed Show.



Rohsina is pictured in June 2006 all dressed up for Samsara's OHBS/GOV inspection.  She has maintained her figure pretty well especially considering that she had had FIVE foals when this picture was taken!

This picture was taken of Rohsina & SoBe the first day they moved to the new farm. Rohsina is a regal presence.
